To showcase the natural qualities of the wood, most of these slats are traditionally stained and varnished. However wooden venetian blinds are also available in solid painted colours to complement modern décor trends, without compromising the strength and durability of the solid wood slat. Painted slats are more resistant to fading than stained slats.
